Figurines, Dice, and Character Sheets

These three things are some of the most fun things that D&D has to offer

D&D Starter Set 5e

The D&D starter set is the set that every new player should get. It is about $15.00 on amazon and it pretty good. But i would rate it a 3 out of 5 stars for a few reasons. I mean, the set comes with some dice which is good but it gets you at the character sheets. It says that it includes character sheets which it does but they aren't blank like i wanted them to be. Unless you are like most like me who likes to create and customize their own character, if not then go ahead and get the set anyway

D&D Essentials Kit

This set i feel is unnecessary to buy in my opinion but go ahead and buy if you want. All it includes a 64 page rule book and a 64 page adventure book

Dice

D4

D6

D8

D12

D20

The d20 is commonly used to find out ability scores for your character. It is a common die to use in D&D

Figurines

Figurines are personally my favorite part of D&D. I mean, you get to paint them and prime them and even make bases on them. There are so many different figurines too.

Miniature Market

Miniature Market is a website that i have been using for years to get all of my miniatures and it has worked out great. The website has pretty cheap miniaturs but the only catch is that if your order is not over $99 then you have to pay shipping

How to take care of your brushes/ How to conserve your paint

Brushes

Step 1: Lightly paint the figure to where you are not fraying your brush at all.

Step 2: After painting lightly wash off your brush and make sure that all the paint is off (left over paint on the brush permanently ruins it)

Step 3: Don't leave your brush laying around your desk or in a drawer or something, what you want to do is leave it in the cup of water but with the bristles facing up.

Paint

Step 1: Use a paint pallet, they are like 50 cents, don't be lazy

Step 2: Shake the paint bottle and then pore out what looks like clear liquid

Step 3: Shake the bottle again and pour

Step 4: Only use what you think is enough paint (you can't undry paint)

Step 5: Close the bottle back up and put it back
